This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) describes the terms for cancellations and refunds for services purchased from Provensoft Technology OPC Pvt Ltd. By engaging our services or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.
1. Cancellation Policy
- General Services: To cancel a scheduled service, you must notify us in writing via email (info@provensoft.in) or WhatsApp at least 2 days before the work begins.
- In-Progress Projects: If you cancel a project that is already in progress, you are liable to pay for the work completed up to that date. Any advance or milestone payments already utilized for development will be forfeited.
- Digital Products/Readymade Work: Since digital products and “readymade” samples are delivered or granted access to immediately, these cannot be canceled once access is provided.
2. Refund Policy
- Milestone Protection: Our work is conducted in stages (milestones). Payment for a new milestone constitutes formal acceptance of the previous milestone. Once a new stage of work has begun or a payment is made, no refunds, returns, or transfers of work will be issued for previous stages.
- Customized Work: Most of our services are tailored to specific client requirements. Because of the manual labor and time involved, customized projects are non-refundable once the design or coding phase has commenced.
- Third-Party Costs: Any payments made toward 3rd-party services (including but not limited to Google Play Console, Apple Developer fees, Domain/Hosting, or Google Maps API keys) are 100% non-refundable, as these are paid to external companies.
- Revision Fees: Fees paid for extra revisions (minimum ₹1,000) are non-refundable as they cover the immediate time and labor of our developers.
3. Refund Process
- Request: To request a review for a refund (where applicable), email info@provensoft.in with your project details and a valid reason.
- Discretion: In cases where a project cannot be completed due to technical impossibility on our end (and no alternative is available), a partial refund may be issued at our sole discretion, minus the cost of hours already worked.
- Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days via the original payment method.
4. Important Exceptions
- Client Misbehavior: If work is discontinued due to client misbehavior, abuse, or harassment (as per our Terms & Conditions), the client forfeits all rights to a refund.
- Delayed Assets: We do not offer refunds for project delays caused by the client’s failure to provide necessary documents, logins, or content on time.
- Platform Updates: No refunds will be issued if a third-party platform (Google, Apple, WordPress) changes its policies or updates its system in a way that affects the app/website after delivery.
